The Skefko bearing was run with 1500 lbs end pressure for 20 hours and 1 hour 20 minutes with 2000 lbs pressure It made a poor show and ran very hot and noisy and finally cracked up altogether. Both races were badly torn up and chipped and the balls were also badly chipped.
