To EY. from Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} c. to Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} c. to EFC. X3573 [handwritten, underlined] REDMANOL COIL CASES. ---------------- Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}5/LG5.11.24. X3573 [handwritten, underlined] X40796 [handwritten, underlined] The difficulty we foresee with Redmanol Coil Cases, is that no reason is given in the report - why Redmanol is free from the faults which we had with Condensite, Bakelite, or Elo. Therefore, if the Redmanol raw material, which we buy, was altered in composition, there would be no indication in the appearance that the mouldings were faulty, whereas electrically they might fail. The view I have heard expressed by R.{Sir Henry Royce} as regards Redmanol, is that it is likely to be treacherous. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} | ||
