S/W Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} Re Buick car. With regard to the spare wheels for this car, Lendrum & Hartman Ltd. write as Follows:- "We would be obliged if you would again give consideration to taking the car with two spare wheels, because we have decided not to import any Buick cars next season fitted with one spare wheel only, owing to the amount of space taken up in the rear trunk where the single spare is carried. Also, to some degree, this affects the spare parts business, as we would only be carrying in stock spare wings fitted with fender wells." In the circumstances, I have told them we will take the two spare wheels. They also advise us that 126" is the shortest wheelbase with which the 320 cubic inch engine is supplied. C. | ||
