Difficulty with the K.S. petrol gauge flange angle and its impact on calibration.

RE. K.S. PETROL GAUGE.

With reference to the K.S. petrol gauge. We have had difficulty experimentally with the flange F.71792 (KS.162) in making the flange for this gauge the correct angle. A difference of 3° of this angle makes half a gallon difference in the calibration of the gauge.
