To BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} from Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rn.{Mr Robinson} c. to Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} c. to Sft.{Mr Swift} X4038 Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rnl/LG10.12.28. RE. K.S. PETROL GAUGE. With reference to the K.S. petrol gauge. We have had difficulty experimentally with the flange F.71792 (KS.162) in making the flange for this gauge the correct angle. A difference of 3° of this angle makes half a gallon difference in the calibration of the gauge. Will you therefore please make special arrangements to check this feature.
