Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} Secret. X83 80 C4/C13.12.24. X.8380 X8830 With reference to the sub-frame which I understand you are delivering to Hoopers next week, will you please let me have information on the following points:- 1. Do I understand that you will be fitting this on to a "W" series chassis, as if so, then we shall have to alter the scuttle to suit the higher radiator and dashboard and the wider dashboard; also the up-sweep of the frame, but this, of course, will be seen by the sub-frame - the radiator, however, would not. 2. When it is ready, do you propose sending a chassis through? if so, what chassis. Of course we could not send through a chassis with an EAC. engine in it. Perhaps you will please let me know what you propose doing about this. There will be the question of the putting up of the wings, steps, etc. We are very anxious to try the new Celluluse system of painting. Would you have any objection to our using this particular body for the purpose. It would help you to get it quicker, because the painting can be done in a few hours and it would help us very much because you would be able to give us an idea how it stands up after one of your 10,000 mile runs.
