Re - Broken Epicyclic Gear.

With reference to the recent breakages of the annulus gear, would you please note that Mr. Royce asks "Are these annulus gears of the old thin type with timing marks indented on the outside of the rim and the gear separate from the flange which holds it to the crankshaft. Further are we still indenting with timing marks the latest type of annular gear with the thick rim".
Would you kindly reply to this?
E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer}
