For the attention of Mr.Neill.

Dear Sir,

Confirming the visit of the undersigned to your works on Saturday last regarding P.100 headlamp failures it was agreed that :-

(a) You would instruct your Service depots that only 6 amp fuses were to be fitted to the dipper units.

(b) You would consider a fundamental modification to the method of connecting up to the tripod to obviate troubles we have experienced with the existing spring plunger.

We have arranged with Mr.Royce to have the 10 pairs of lamps you have in stock for us to have the new strengthened dipper bracket and no doubt you will have instructions from him accordingly within the next few days. This will confirm therefore that from this date no further P.100 headlamps will be delivered to us without incorporating all the latest modification which include :-
