25-EX. Report 30.7.31.

Report dated 30.7.31 indicates that trouble has been met with under certain conditions of running, arising out of military petrol vaporising in the glass-container. Although this condition may only arise as a result of hard strenuous driving, it would be most irritating to certain of our owners, such as Capt. Thistlethwayte, and it is hoped that before the end of the present trials with 25-EX we shall have an opportunity of satisfying ourselves, as a result of the necessary modification, that this trouble cannot recur.
