I am glad to report that as the result of the fitting of four special springs which you sent for temporary fitment to the side steering tube, we succeeded in convincing our customer that the steering was to his satisfaction, and so long as we deliver him a chassis which shall be at least as good as 89.KR. in general and having steering which is no less desirable than the steering of 89.KR. with these special springs, he will accept it, but he has the right of refusing the chassis if on trial he is not satisfied that it is as good as the demonstration which we gave him. It is very important, therefore, to take careful note of the nature of the springs you sent us for that trial, which JLE. {J. Lee Evans - Chassis Test Manager} is returning to you, so that you can fit similar springs to the chassis which this customer will eventually have allotted to him. I am arranging that W. shall be specially advised as to the chassis he will have, so that this matter can be dealt with. Cx. {Major Len W. Cox - Advertising Manager} Ruk | ||
