To DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} from E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} -3- E1/G24318 Contd. which will allow air to be pushed out from the crankcase, and will maintain a partial vacuum therein. MT The breathing on this engine will be very heavy indeed. From the point of view of fully testing out the pistons, we should be able to fit the ordinary type of breather but of larger capacity, to deal with the large amount of gas that will be travelling in and out. This could be used alternately with the little "blow-off" valve. E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} [Signature] [Footer]: R.R. 537-(400 L) (2) C 937 10-2-19 (c) T248 | ||
