RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} c.Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} G.Worr. X 1203 BY/EM.17/J.107.35. We are handing to you herewith, three parcels marked No.1, 2 and 2A each containing approximately four to five pounds of Stellite produced by Messrs. Thos. Firth & John Brown Limited. RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} has already received a report from the Laboratory in regard to Stellite produced by Messrs. Firth which shows that the Firth's material is the nearest approximation to the Hayne's Stellite that we have yet seen. We suggest therefore that samples of each of the three different analyses handed to RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} herewith should be actually tried out on valves and run on engine tests.
