Dear Sirs,

We wish to confirm telephone conversation of this morning when you requested the supply of one 11" Driven Plate Assembly having Thermoid friction facings. It is appreciated that assembly is required urgently and every possible effort is being made to despatch this morning per passenger train.

You will recall that specification for production clutches has been modified to incorporate Thermoid facings.
