COPY. The Car Mart Ltd., Reg. RGS/JM.{Mr Morley} Ninth November 1935. Messrs Bentley Motors (1931) Ltd., Conduit Street, W.1. Dear Sirs, re 3½-litre Bentley. B.155.EJ E.L.Payton Esq. As you are probably aware, on the instructions of our client, we had fitted to the above numbered car a Philco Car Radio Receiver, Model 803.T. This was installed by the Manufacturers, Messrs Delco-Remy & Hyatt, Ltd. who have been at very great pains in their endeavours to make this installation a complete success, in view of the owner of the car. It has, however, been found quite impossible to suppress entirely interference from the voltage regulator, and we believe we are right in saying that the Works Manager of Messrs Delco-Remy & Hyatt Ltd. telephoned one of your representatives at Kingsbury yesterday, who stated they would be pleased to carry out the necessary adjustments to this voltage control, when the car could be spared, after which it would probably have to go back to the Radio Suppliers for minor adjustments. Would you be kind enough to let us have your views on this matter, as we would like to pass them on to Mr.Payton himself. Thanking you in anticipation, We beg to remain, Yours faithfully, for The Car Mart, Limited. (Signed) R.G.Sprake. | ||
