E/HDY.{William Hardy}1/HP.3.3.37. WRAITH III. We send herewith N.Sch.5058 showing modifications to the pedals to reduce cost by deleting the brazing. The bosses on the pedal forgings have had to be elongated and the cost of the forgings has therefore been increased, but it is thought that the saving in other respects will considerably outweigh the forging increase. The bosses are reamed right through, and the plain bushes are pressed in without endwise location to prevent them from going further down the bosses. However, it is thought that there is no likelihood of this happening. N.Sch.5058 herewith. E/HDY.{William Hardy} | ||
