We have received your wire stating that the
oil consumption for the first 500 miles run was 286
m.p.g. We have wired you today to carry out tests
at various maximum speeds. You will remember we
spoke about this before you left.

We suggest you might also carry out a test
by leaving the oil filler off so as to increase the
ventilation of the crankcase.
