Dear Pilkington,

Many thanks for your letter of August 2nd., together with the information which it contained.

With regard to the two-leading-shoe brake, I have had a letter from the Patentees in which they ask me to leave the matter in abeyance until they have completed some manufacturing agreements which they are at present negotiating. I will let you know just as soon as they are prepared to go ahead.

Yours sincerely,
