For the attention of I.A.Leslie, Esq.

14th. January, 1937.

Dear Sirs,

Referring to your letter of the 4th. January, we have approached all Rim suppliers in this country and regret to inform you that we are not able to obtain an open bead rim, size 4.00-17.

We could, however, produce from 4.00 section E.L.P. rim strip, a 17" wheel, but this would be in 10-gauge material.

We should not recommend a combination of this rim and a 6.00 tyre for continued use, but feel that such a fitment may be of assistance in getting comparative data for the type of test which you have under consideration.

We should be glad to know whether you wish us to proceed with a pair of wheels of this construction.

Yours faithfully,
FOR THE DUNLOP RUBBER CO.LTD.,

Manager,
Car Manfrs. Division.
