Rolls Royce Ltd.
DERBY.

Dear Sirs,

We are in receipt of your letter of the 6th. July re the zero clearance pistons and the .002 interference valve clearance.

It would be of great assistance if you could return the casting to us for the fitting of these, or alternatively give us the diameters of the bores and the diameter of the valve hole, as we are not very certain of the exact sizes.

We should also be obliged if you would advise us if you would require piston rings for the pistons, as these are now being fitted by us as standard.

Yours faithfully,
ARMSTRONG'S PATENTS CO. LTD.
