CADILLAC REAR AXLE TESTS.

Herewith photographic print illustrating location of failure of "Cadillac" Rear Axle Shaft after

200 hours at 1,000 R.P.M. - load 1 ton,

followed by

53 hours at 667 R.P.M. - load 1.5 ton, the load being applied at the centre line of the road wheel.

The metallurgical analysis will be supplied direct from the laboratory.

A print is also attached of a Singer XI Rear Axle Shaft after approximately 3,000 miles.
