Cuzman - Broken ball bearing.

Mr Wormald submitted a broken ball bearing which had been taken from Mr Guzman's car. The Committee suggested that we should return this to the makers for their report, and that we should also ask for a free replacement.

Re Chassis 1498 - ball bearings removed from car as faulty.

The Committee suggested that Mr DeLooze should write to Mr Waldenby informing him that he received some instructions a short time ago to the effect that all bearings having pressed cages fitted in the gear box should be replaced by bearings having cast bronze cages. The instructions did not apply to road wheel hubs. One of the bearings removed has a cast brozeN cage and is in excellent condition. Under these circumstances "N" should be charged with this bearing which is useless to us, and "W" will bear the cost of the other three
