I have received your H82/LG/3.2.22. and have wired you to-day as follows:

"107-M.G. HARTFORDS NOT ARRIVED YET WHEN WERE
"THEY DISPATCHED. MOST URGENT."

The matter in which the R.R. shock absorbers have failed on the cream car is merely that they are no use, as all the cars refuse to hold the road if the brakes are applied, which, as you can imagine is very embarrassing in this country.

On the other hand, the Hartfords shock absorbers fitted to the Rocksavage car can only be described as perfect in the operation and effect.

I hope there has been no further delay in sending forward the Hartfords shock absorbers.

With regard to the 14 tooth axles for Touring in France, I find these desirable in every way, except in perhaps fuel consumption.

There is a very marked improvement on all hair-pin hilly work.
