LONDON REFERENCES OUTWARDS WHL/VF INWARDS 18th. December 1922. Messrs. Rolls Royce Ltd., D E R B Y. Dear Sirs, For the attention of Mr. H. {Arthur M. Hanbury - Head Complaints} Royce. We beg to refer to your very kind enquiries some months ago, for a Motor Driven Warning Signal, which unfortunately, owing to the patent situation regarding these instruments, we did not feel justified in supplying. It is now desired to inform you that an interesting development has arisen, by which we are able to offer the SPARTON Electric Horn, under its new name of the "GRAHAM-SPARTON". An arrangement has been concluded with the makers, the Sparks Withington Co. of U.S.A., so that we are henceforth Sole Manufacturers and Distributors for the British Empire. Improved models suitable to British taste, are in course of preparation and samples will be available shortly for test purposes. Handwritten notes: Hs {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} can return after perusal. The sample this speaks of should follow shortly RS {Sir Henry Royce's Secretary} 19/12/22 | ||
