O.T.Jones, Esq.,
The Vacuum Oil Co.,
Caxton House, East,
Westminster,
LONDON, S.W.1.

Dear Mr. Jones,

Some of the oil companies have given us a lot of worry recently by altering the viscosities of their oils. This, of course, means that our instruction books for any except new cars recommend an unsuitable oil.

Can we persuade the Vacuum Oil Co. to put the viscosity number after the names of all their oils so we can in future, say to our customers "Use viscosity 30 oil made by one of the following companies".

We hope such an arrangement will meet with your approval.

Yours sincerely,
