was any truth in the suggestion that Buicks on their latest model were adopting the Dubonnet scheme. Although they were having the usual difficulties with their scheme he did not know of a better one taking all points into consideration. He mentioned that he hoped some day E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} would go to U.S.A. He did not claim that they made better motorcars, they certainly made a large number of mistakes but they did try and profit by them.

I spoke to Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} about oil cooling for aero engines and he is bringing back with him a sample of the one used on the Curtiss Conqueror. He also gave particulars of the oil temperatures they were working to.

Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} said that they were definitely sailing on March 21st. on the Berengaria.
