Lancs.

For the attention of Mr. Evans.

Dear Sirs,

We are requiring for purely experimental purposes some front engine mounting rubbers F.60398/9 having a very large range of flexibility. We should like to have about 6 grades of rubber from durometer 30 to durometer 85. We shall require 2 rubbers to each piece number for every grade.

We fully realise that the harder grades of rubber are not suitable for good adhesion to metal, but as these rubbers are only required for periodicity tests, we do not mind bad adhesion. However, we do ask you very strongly to arrange for these rubbers to be labelled for my personal attention, so that they are not muddled with the production supplies.

Yours faithfully,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED.
