To "HS{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}" From "G.W.H." X5846 PARIS, the 11th April 1927. 2 10 - G - I I I We handed over the "Lorraine Dietrich" to Mr. PARSONS at Boulogne and met "RM{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}" with 10-G-III. During our run up to PARIS with this car the water joints became loose and we lost all our water. Fortunately it was noticed in time and no material damage was done. The car generally is in a very bad condition, and, before proceeding to Chateauroux, we are getting the necessary parts repaired and replaced. We expect leaving here Tuesday midday. G.W.HANCOCK. | ||
