S.S. 234A (100 T) (S.H. 155 11-8-20) G.{Mr Griffiths - Chief Accountant / Mr Gnapp} 2800 X3362 To EFC. from R.. R8/G24.1.21. X.3362. RE SMALLER C.P. LAMPS FOR WEST WITTERINGHenry Royce's home town. X.1114. Our little installation here has been such a wonderful boon and for its size the greatest value of any installation existing, considering the value of the work done by it. The 48 C.P. 24 watt lamps are excellent where 48 C.P. is wanted, but there are many places - passages and at layories where 6 c.p. would be enough. I therefore want some 1 amp and ½ amp 12 volt lamps, such as we have been using, but naturally should prefer that they were also ½ watt. Some we had no doubt were very efficient, as they are so cool in working, other give a light less white in colour, and are much less efficient, and hot to the touch. The better ones had no name, but were marked 12 volt 6 c.p. Kindly get me a further supply as requested. R.{Sir Henry Royce} | ||
