PETROL PUMPS ------------------------------- On the 15th instant we ordered the following parts from you by Air Mail, as per our Order N° 1806: 50 sets - Diaphragms and Spindles for S.U. petrol pumps (assembled). We have to-day received the parts, but they were not assembled. We were given to understand from a memo which we received from Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/GWH.{George W. Hancock - Head Chateauroux} viz. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/GWH{George W. Hancock - Head Chateauroux}/DBP.11.8.37, that we should, in the future, no longer be supplied with diaphragms and spindles non assembled, for reasons stated in the above memo. We presume that, as we ordered the parts by Air Mail, there was insufficient time to assemble them, or perhaps this was due to other reasons. We shall be pleased to receive 400 vullumoid washers for the diaphragms, as per model which we sent you and which was attached to our order N° 1802 of the 12th instant, as soon as possible. VA. | ||
