GEARBOX SIDE SHAFTS.

This is to confirm that you will remove the box fitted to 30.G.VII and replace the present ordinary needle roller side shaft bearings with crowded rollers.

Also that one of the boxes at present stripped will be rebuilt with white metal bearings on the side shaft and then fitted to 9.B.V. after this car has been stripped.

We will also make a note to examine the crowded needle roller bearings on 12.B.V. after this car has completed 25,000 miles.
