Standardisation and dimensions of balance weights for a 20/25 HP chassis balanced crankshaft.

Re 20/25 HP. Chassis - Balanced Crankshaft - Section 5010.

With reference to the above Crankshaft which is under consideration for standardisation, and for which we are anxious to have definite particulars as to the actual balance weights fitted to the experimental chassis, so that our drawings can be modified ready to instruct for production.

According to information supplied by Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Gry.{Shadwell Grylls} the large balance weight is correct to drawing E.57288, but for the small weight we have three different dimensions for the height of same viz:- 1.762, 1.770 on C.X Unit Crankshaft and 1.780 on C.XII Unit Crankshaft. It would be helpfull if you could advise us, as to which of these three sizes should be instructed for production.
