X4050 Expl. Dept. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rn.{Mr Robinson}4/MJ. June 23rd,1930. The Dunlop Rubber Co. Ltd., Fort Dunlop, Erdington, BIRMINGHAM. Dear Sirs, For the attention of Mr. Bond. We are doing a certain amount of running with our 40/50 cars on Brooklands at high speeds. Your standard tyres will not stand up for this work for more than a few laps. Have you any racing tyre which would fit our 20" wheels that we could use for this work?. Possibly you might have something that you would like tested out. We are sending you a standard cover which failed during our last test. Yours faithfully, For Rolls-Royce Ltd. | ||
