X3745 HAMMOND (CHELSEA) LIMITED. "Lubri" TRADE MARK. Park Walk, Chelsea, London. S.W. ______192_ RECEIVED STAMP: OCT 25 1921 Dear Sirs, An increasing number of Car Manufacturers are including Spring Gaiters as a part of the standard equipment of their Cars for 1922, whilst others are offering to supply them at an extra cost. If you have not yet made your arrangements for the manufacture of a standard Spring Gaiter for your next season's Cars, we trust you will favour us with your enquiries. Our "Lubri" Gaiter excels all others by a simple, scientific and continuous method of efficiently lubricating the Springs, and excluding dust and water. The enclosed Brochure will show you the Gaiter, which consists of 3 parts:- 1. The dust and water proof outer casing. 2. The felt lining saturated with OIL between the Springs and outer casing, ENCLOSING THE SPRINGS AT ALL TIMES IN OIL. 3. The OIL reservoir feeding the felt casing. We can offer you special terms if your Cars are equipped as standard with the "Lubri" Gaiter, our prices being reasonable, compatable with quality. Your manufacturing costs would not be increased, because the Gaiter can be fitted during assembly, and the Springs would not require painting. We should appreciate a reply, and an opportunity to demonstrate that the "Lubri" Gaiter fulfils all our claims. Yours faithfully, HAMMOND (CHELSEA) Ltd. C A Nelson Managing Director. | ||
