If we consider the adoption of the Smith dynamo as standard, we shall have to face the question as to what we are going to do about the switchbox and cutout. There would seem no question of using the present Lucas switchbox so that three alternatives would present themselves :- (1) The use ofaSmith cut-out as a separate unit together with an R.R. switchbox. (2) The use of an R.R. switch as designed for the R.R. earthed wiring scheme and making use of a Lucas cut-out. (3) The use of an R.R. switchbox and R.R. cutout in one unit. Ck.{Mr Clark} | ||
