The car was examined by Ev.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork}, Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/FD{Frank Dodd - Bodies}, and Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Hewitt. The following is a summary of their observations:- (a) Improvements over previous B.V. bodies. (1) The lighter boot lid{A. J. Lidsey} is satisfactory, weighing 34 lbs compared with 48 lbs. on previous B.V.'s. (2) The rexine covering to the inside of the boot lid{A. J. Lidsey} and method of attaching rubber strips is more serviceable than on previous bodies and should cost less. (3) The sliding roof is neater than previously, having no making up strip at front edge. (4) The centre armrest is softer and therefore more comfortable. (5) The veneered cappings are considered tasteful. (6) The absence of trafficator escutcheons is a neat feature.
