The Empire Rubber Company,
D U N S T A B L E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} Beds.

Attention Mr.E.L.Watson.

Dear Sirs,

Confirming our telephone conversation of this afternoon, with reference to Number Plate Seal, No.MB.153, it was arranged that you would make the necessary dies and produce two seals suitable for the Lucas number plate, size as shown, on our Blue Print.

The outside dimensions on the section to be as shown; regarding the interior of the section, this we leave to you to decide the shape which you think most suitable.

We should like the finish to be a smooth black rubber, similar to that used on Windscreens, as the position it will occupy on the car is very noticeable.

Yours faithfully,
for ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED,
