Re London-Edinburgh type cars.
TBB2/L11712.
Mr Johnson is anxious to have fitted to his L to E car projecting ven-tilators or louvres in the scuttle immediately behind the dash, roughly according to the attached sketch.
He says Mr Royce quite approves of them and thinks they might be fitted to all the London-Edinburgh cars and to cars with covered in dashboards.
These louvres or ventilators have thier opening forward and when shut should be flush with the side of the coachwork, the object being when open they will force fresh air into the front seat space.
