X8940 Expl: Dept: Messrs. Rells-Royce Ltd., Derby, Angleterre. Hotel de France, Chateauroux, Indre, France. Mr. Hancock from Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} You should instruct your drivers that on no account must them raise trouble with any French Authorities. The time which is spent arguing is not worth the few centimes which the Octroi would charge. Another point is that we are in France, wearing out their roads, and breaking their laws, so that we must not take the least risk of annoying them. We want this to be made very clear to all the men that they must not on any account ague with the French Authorities - if they demand money, pay it cheerfully. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} | ||
