X.4430 2.12.21. X.4430. PAPER FOR CONDENSER TO SUIT ARRGT. IN WHICH CONDENSER IS FOLDED FLAT AND PLACED VERTICALLY ON SIDE OF IGNITION TOWER. Required preferably in reels of, say, 25 yards each as a minimum (50 yard reels accepted). Width 2.500" capable of being rolled and interleaved with .0005 to .0010" x 2.300" of strip tin or aluminium foil, without tearing where it overlaps the edges of the foil. Maximum thickness should be .0015" to .002". Di-electric inductivity should be not less than 5.5 and breakdown voltage not less than 400 (R.M.S.A.C.). It must either be perfectly free from weak spots or obtained .001" thick with a breakdown potential exceeding 300 volts, when it can be used double for reliability. EFC {E.
