With reference to Hd{Mr Hayward/Mr Huddy}/SB{Mr Bull/Mr Bannister}3/KH.11.12.30, you stated that 1400-Wide lbs. Rear Springs, should be fitted, we agree exactly with this, our calculated figure being 1434 lbs. which should give a clearance of 4.100". At the time the springs were specified for this Chassis 16.12.29, as 1200 lbs. the following points were not allowed for. Experimental springing being fitted on Cars.- (all Countries) (A) 50 lbs. for settling. (B) Continental Allowance.
