( 2 ) We find that the floats are agitated by the pulsations and a gradual flooding takes place, which upsets the slow running. There are no pumps free from this fault, the best, pulsates approximately once every 15 seconds. We do not understand why our pump on B.56.BN{W.O. Bentley / Mr Barrington} should have brass discs for the valves. These I understand have been replaced some time ago by the bakelite discs. We have obtained a new pump from Paris as the contact points on ours were almost burnt away. We appreciate the remarks re ignition plugs and will verify your results when we receive the new plugs. We are hoping to get the car running on Tuesday the 28th inst. ------------ GWHancock G.W.H. | ||
