Adderley Park,
BIRMINGHAM 8.

For the attention of Mr. B.A. Davey.

Dear Sir,

We are making good progress with the patterns of the S.U. Carburetter you have designed for Kes.Vl.{V. Lewis / Mr Valentine} and hope to have a casting of the bottom half and intermediate piece in about ten days time. The blower casing will take a little longer.

When we have machined the bottom half and intermediate piece we will forward them on to you for assembly and in the meantime shall be working on the supercharger casing. This latter part will follow on to you soon afterwards.

Thanking you for the promptness with which you supplied the designs.

Yours faithfully,

For Rolls-Royce Ltd.
