During Mr Platford's conversation with Mr Royce last week end, Mr Royce suggested that we should carry out a series of bumping tests on the front axle, i.e. the front of the car, say, should be picked up and allowed to drop again.
The result could be produced by bolting an axle at right angles to the direction in which it is usually fixed and bumping it by means of our standard wooden baulk.
