Messrs. The Chloride Elec. Storage Co.Ltd.,
Clifton Junction,
Nr. Manchester.

For the attention of Mr. E.C.McKinnon.

Dear Sirs,

This will confirm the visit of your Mr. McKinnon to our premises on Friday last, the 26th inst., and that he duly inspected opened-up cells of a 10,000 mile Exide chassis test battery. Also that we handed to Mr. McKinnon a copy of a general report on the comparison of the condition of this battery with a similar battery of P & R make which has been through a similar test.

It was suggested that two other cells from this battery should be despatched to your Works. We would like to know if you would still like to have two un-opened cells for still further investigation.

Yours faithfully,

MADE AT CROXLEY

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED.
