5th November, 1936.

Messrs. Wellworthy Piston Rings Ltd.,
Lymington,
Hants.

For the attention of Mr. F.{Mr Friese} Blackith.

Dear Sirs,

We are wondering when we shall have the opportunity of using your profilegraph instrument on our cylinder blocks. When the writer visited your Works last Month you had apparently lent the instrument out to some Firm and you thought that in about a weeks time from our visit the instrument would be free, for us to use. We should be very pleased if you could let us know when we could borrow it because we are still very interested in it and would like to see the results on our cylinder blocks.

Yours faithfully,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LTD.
