Cold Starting.

With regard to the sticking bushes on Ph.III cars, Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}267 bush has prooved very satisfactory both on the rig and on the engine.

It was suggested to try to arrive at something that would be cheaper to produce and yet have the same effect as the above mentioned.

Two fruther kinds of bushes were produced to Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}273/4 and tried out on the rig for a comparison.

It was found that both bushes were subject to sticking Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}274 being the worst owing to the reduced bearing surface area.
