1020 Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} from Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}11/R.17.11.37. We have had a telephone call from Sr. relative to bearings. His own car which was fitted with A.C.2 has run into the present production trouble. He has two customers cars in pieces in the Paris Repair Shop ready to be fitted with A.C.2 bearings. In view of the trouble he has had with his own car he has asked us what he should recommend. The two customers cars have already hammered out the A.C.7 material in a fairly small mileage. We told him to fit a white metal main bearing and the other bearings in A.C.7 which he has. From his own experience he is satisfied that this will give the best results.
