Chassis GYL.51. Chamberlain, King & Jones.

We have run the rear damper off this chassis, which was handed to us, on the rear of one of our Expl. cars. This damper could not be heard in the rear passengers seat. We therefore do not consider that we can usefully work on the damper, for obviously we cannot hear the noise which is annoying the customer. We suggest that this is a case where it is essential that someone should work on the car itself if any further complaints are made, because we are rather convinced ourselves that this is due to a faulty connection of the connecting link. On examining the connecting link a collar was found to be missing from which may indicate that this has been the source of the trouble.
