EAC. 8. PEDALS.

We send herewith N.sch.2072 shewing the layout of the B. type pedals.

The method of construction is different in several places from 'W' series, and new forgings will be required.

With the information given on N.sch.2070 it will be possible to set out 'C' and 'D' pedals, and we should be glad if Derby would kindly do this.

The only thing we shall send in addition on this point is a position drawing for the accelerator pedal on 'C' and 'D'.

Though we know the experimental chassis will be 'C' or 'D', we have shewn 'B' because as a rule it is this chassis that presents the greater difficulty. We endeavour as far as possible to draw the type presenting the difficulties. This also applies to long and short chassis. Though the Expl: Dept: may frequently require short chassis for the experimental cars we usually draw the long as including the short.
