Dear Robotham,

Many apologies for bothering you with yet another letter, but the following is an extract from a letter that I received this morning from my brother-in-law, Captn. Dugdale, which I thought might interest you:-

"I have now tested the car under all conditions. She is a wonderful production, and makes long journeys by road a pleasure instead of a tiring necessity. I hope you will tell Robotham how grateful I am for the personal attention he gave to the car, and how delighted I am with its performance, especially cornering at speed. She sits on the road, and the tyres make no noise whatever. The only fault I have is that when one arrives at any place it is necessary at once to look her up, as otherwise every chauffeur in the district appears from all sides to look at her !!!! I broke a valve spring on the way north, and found the most excellent service at Glasgow; enquired as to who were agents for Rolls, and having found the garage met Mr. Read, who was quite first-class - sent me over to eat breakfast, and on return the car was ready for the road"

I hope to meet Mr. R.F. Summers when he comes to London to-morrow.

I am off for my holiday on Friday - my car will be with you on Saturday.

Of course, don't bother to answer this.

Yours sincerely,
Rothes.

P.S. this is Very Private, but Park Ward are. P.T.O
