Current, possible, and standard modifications for E.R. Hall's car.

Hall's Car. The following work is being carried out on E.R. Hall's car over and above modification to the unit :- (1) Gearbox with higher indirect ratios. (2) Modified exhaust system. (3) Radiator stone guard. (4) Larger petrol tank. It is possible that the following further modifications may be carried out, but these at the present moment are in the hands of the Design people only :- (1) Subsidiary oil tank on the dashboard. (2) Hartfords fitted. In addition to these special items, the normal modifications being made to all Bentleys will be carried out on this car. These include :- (1) Arrangements for preventing the carburetter flooding and setting the engine on fire. (2) Front and rear brakes fitted with strengthened toggles. (3) Front axle to be changed to the latest strengthened type. (4) Latest Firth's front springs fitted with additional clips.
